This game may be their best yet and, based on my experience. One reason is because the last time we saw a next gen jump game, the quality of NBA 2K improved vastly from appearance, to game modes, to game play.
They launched 2K16, 17 and 18, which came out a few days after the release. They are considered by me to be their best games and the 16th one being their most memorable. They could make a similar game for NBA 2K21. The boredom generated by COVID-19 is going to make it even more effective.

The NBA 2K League has announced an updated process for tryouts for their next season. It will take place in 2021.
