Kudos in Oldschool Runescape
Volunteering for the staff at the Varrock Museum can get you kudos in the classic Runescape. Staff members will award Kudos based on the player they are helping. You can only access the fossil island if you have at least 100 kudos.
Kudos are the reward given to the players who assist the Varrock Museum staff. Depending entirely on the player meeting certain Kudos thresholds, they will be given rewards from the various staff throughout the museum. The Kudos do not have to be spent; they are simply accrued. If a player is rewarded with Kudos their total will be displayed on the left-hand side of the screen. Users can also see their Kudos count and what difficulties they are yet to complete by right-clicking the information booth in the northwest corner on the bottom of the Museum. The requirement for a minimum of 100 Kudos or more are required to gain access to Fossil Island. After a Kudos score of 153 is reached (the prior maximum prior to the Fossil Islands update), players are able to access the gateway that leads to the Digsite.
A maximum of 225 Kudos are possible to earn by the participant in the Varrock Museum activity by making the use of four different methods:
Cleaning up the debris (50 Kudos)
Take Orlando Smith’s natural-history quiz (28 Kudos).
Sharing knowledge about specific completed quests to the Historian Minas (75 Kudos)
Finishing fossil exhibits (72 Kudos).
Players can communicate with the Information Clerk on the ground level of the Varrock Museum to obtain specific suggestions on other ways to earn more Kudos.
